Seek Vengeance in Team Unite’s Fortnite RPG Based on ‘The Northman’

Team Unite and Focus Features have partnered to create Vengeance, a breathtaking experience in Fortnite inspired by The Northman - the latest film from acclaimed director Robert Eggers. Players will begin their journey as a Viking warrior, seeking to avenge the death of their father.
Team Unite has gone above and beyond, creating a fully-fledged open world RPG inside of Fortnite Creative. Vengeance is our biggest collaboration to date, with over 20 hours of content included. Players are guided through a main storyline inspired by Robert Eggers’ viking epic, and can complete Side Quests in order to level up their skills.
While the final objective of Vengeance is to hunt down your father’s murderer, players who try to rush to this showdown will find themselves vastly unequipped for the battle. The game features multiple skills that can be upgraded overtime, and will be essential to your journey.
With activities such as fishing and hunting, you must learn to adapt to the world of The Northman. As your character levels up, you’ll be able to unlock new resources and weapons to aid you in your quest. Talk to NPCs around the map to activate side quests, and explore hidden areas and tombs.
Vengeance features various places and references directly inspired by The Northman. As the movie is a violent but stunning depiction of norse mythology, bringing Robert Eggers’ world to the teen-rated Fortnite was a fun challenge.
Team Unite worked hard to reshape Fortnite’s style into something suitable for fans of the film, while also keeping it accessible to all Fortnite players. Working directly with Loaded and Focus Features, we created Vengeance as an incredible crossover between two worlds that people would have never imagined together.
